United for a cancer-free future partnership
Uniprix has been committed to people’s health and well-being for 45 years. As we strive to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients, we are partnering with the Institut du cancer de Montréal to give researchers the means to beat cancer.
You, too, can join the fight against cancer!
Did you know?
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Quebec1 and the second leading cause worldwide2.
As such, nearly 2 in 5 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime3. This means that millions of children, adults and seniors, regardless of their social status, will have their lives disrupted by the disease.
Stronger together
Being diagnosed with cancer and dealing with the disease can be overwhelming. The caring support of loved ones and friends is essential.
This resonates with good friends France Beaudoin, media host and producer, and France Castel, media host and actress, who are joining their voices to ours by becoming the spokepersons in support of cancer research.

Research at the Institute
Founded 75 years ago, the Institute du cancer de Montréal, affiliated to CRCHUM, supports excellence in research in order to find new treatments against cancer and, ultimately, beat the disease.
The researchers who are members of the Institute focus on cancers of epithelial origin, which include most solid tumors, such as ovarian cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer.

The family pharmacist's role
If you are diagnosed with cancer, your family pharmacist will work closely with your health care team (oncologist, family physician, hospital pharmacist, pivot nurse, psychologist, nutritionist, physiotherapist, etc.) to provide you with the best treatments for your condition.
In addition to answering your questions about the disease and ensuring that your treatments are effective, your pharmacist will provide support and accompany you in your health journey.

- Support research projects
- Invest in state-of-the-art equipment
- Award scholarships
- Organize and fund scientific conferences and training workshops
The pharmacy services presented in this section are offered by pharmacist owners who are affiliated with Uniprix. The pharmacists are solely responsible for the professional activities carried out during the practice of pharmacy.
