Committed to improving the health and well-being of the community, Uniprix strives to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer. By partnering with the Fondation Charles-Bruneau, Uniprix helps fund research and supports the development of projects dedicated to pediatric hematology and oncology.
To fulfill our commitment, Uniprix is actively involved in several flagship initiatives and events of the Fondation Charles-Bruneau:
Coupe Charles-Bruneau and Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau: our staff rallies and teams up for a unique experience at these annual fundraising sporting events.
Grande soirée Charles-Bruneau: our people and valued partners add their touch to this extraordinary gourmet evening in support of a cancer-free childhood.
Through these actions, Uniprix is strengthening its support for the Fondation Charles-Bruneau and is actively working to improve care and prospects for children with cancer.
Charles Bruneau
We owe this dream and its moving message of hope to Charles. His dream is now shared by all children fighting to overcome this dreaded disease.
The Fondation Charles-Bruneau draws inspiration from Charles’s perseverance in its efforts to lead the fight for life for as long as it takes.
The facilities of the Fondation Charles-Bruneau
All children with cancer in Quebec are treated at one of the four Charles-Bruneau centres or units, the only ones to offer specialized care thanks to their cutting-edge technology.
Their goal: to cure the 20% of children whose cancer is resistant to treatment and ensure a full recovery for those in remission, by prioritizing funding for pediatric hematology and oncology research.
Flagship fundraising events
The Fondation organizes several events each year to raise funds for pediatric hematology and oncology research in Quebec. It is also the main beneficiary of the 24h Tremblant winter sports challenge.
