Medication management

Having difficulty taking all your medications at the right time? Are you following a type of therapy that requires the use of sterile equipment? Most Uniprix-affiliated pharmacies can help patients better comply with their treatment. For example, they can provide weekly pill dispensers, which contain all the daily drug doses in a convenient blister pack. They can also prepare special “sterile” medications for patients who need them.

Here are the various medication management services offered by Uniprix-affiliated pharmacists:

Find a Uniprix location offering these services.

Pill dispensers

Pill dispensers, which are filled with all your drug doses by our lab technicians, are an effective way to help you manage and comply with your drug therapy.

The dispenser contains compartments corresponding to every day of the week and various dispensing times throughout each day.

To learn more, ask about it at Uniprix locations offering the pill dispenser service.

Preparation of sterile medications

All Uniprix-affiliated pharmacies provide sterile medications. (If a given location does not have specialized sterile equipment, it will request the sterile medication from another location and have it delivered, with no inconvenience to the patient).

To learn more, about the preparation of sterile medications, ask at a Uniprix location near you!

Flavours for medications (FLAVORx+)

If you or your children do not like the taste of a prescription syrup or liquid antibiotic, you can ask your Uniprix-affiliated pharmacist to add your favourite flavour to it.

To learn more about the flavours available, ask about it at Uniprix stores offering this service (FLAVORx+)!
