Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer in women: one in nine Canadian women will be affected.
Unfortunately, there are several risk factors for breast cancer. On the other hand, the following health habits could help prevent breast cancer: don't smoke, work out regularly, keep a healthy weight, drink alcohol moderately and eat a healthy diet. Nonetheless, mammography remains the best screening method.
To learn more about breast cancer, we invite you to participate at the Breast cancer awareness days organized by the CHUM on the 17th and 18th of March 2010. It will take place on Grande-Place in the Complexe Desjardins. We will have presentations starting at noon and different specialists will be there to answer to all your questions.
