Skin care for mature skin: Cosmetology to the rescue!

Anti-wrinkle molecules

  • Anti-free radicals (antioxidants): vitamins A (famed ‘retinol’), C and E ; trace elements and minerals (notably selenium)
  • Soy isoflavones (stimulate the production of collagen and help restructure/plump the skin weakened by the stoppage of oestrogen production during menopause)
  • Coenzyme Q10 (another antioxidant)
  • Exfoliants agents (smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of age spots)
  • Procysteins (reduce the appearance of age spots)
  • And others...

Note that the appearance of age spots can be diminished by means of exfoliating scrubs, laser treatments and microdermabrasion.
