Say “yes” to makeup primers!
- Makeup primers create a protective film that does not penetrate skin. It shields it from pollution, free radicals and other cosmetics.
- It hides small flaws, evens out and improves skin texture and adds luminosity;
- It sets makeup and extends its hold by preventing the foundation and blush from being absorbed – even by combination or oily skin!
Types of makeup primers
There are basically two types of primers and both come in various forms (cream, gel or lotion):
- Colourless primers
- Tinted primers to correct complexion issues from the outset. Pink primers are recommended for dull complexions, apricot for olive skin tones and violet for yellow complexions.
How to apply
- Makeup primer should be applied after your day cream, but before your makeup foundation;
- You can apply it with the tip of your finger or with a foundation brush;
- Use a pea-sized amount for the entire face. Start at the centre and work your way outward, while focusing on the T-zone. Wait a few minutes before continuing the rest of your makeup application.
