Caring for the brushes
To keep your brushes as long as possible and avoid the spread of germs, you need to give them a good dose of TLC. Here’s how:
- Once a week - spray a small amount of antiseptic liquid for brushes into clean hands or on a paper tissue. Using a circular motion, sweep the brush through the solution to saturate the bristles.
- Once a month – place a few drops of gentle laundry soap or baby shampoo in the palm of your hand. Wet the brush with lukewarm water and use the same circular motion as above to clean the bristles. Rinse under lukewarm water. Also, when rinsing the bristles, remember to always point the brush downward to keep water from penetrating the metal casing. This reduces the risk of mould.
- Do not crush the bristles and avoid soaking your brushes.
- Lay out your brushes on the edge of the sinkto let them air dry.
